  • Can We Bring Our Own Caterer?

    All catering at Coombe Lodge, our wedding venue in Blagdon, is provided in-house by our talented team of chefs. We pride ourselves on a high standard of cuisine using top quality, locally produced ingredients wherever possible.

  • How Far Is Coombe Lodge From Bristol?

    Coombe Lodge is located about 10 miles from Bristol and Weston-Super-Mare, and 18 miles from Bath. There is a location map on the ‘Find us’ web page.

  • Do You Cater For Special Diets At Coombe Lodge?

    We have a wide range of vegetarian dishes for both the starters and main courses. In addition, with prior knowledge, we can cater for vegans, food allergies and special diets.

  • Can We Leave Our Cars Overnight?

    You are welcome to leave your vehicles as long as they are collected by mid-morning of the following day. There is a list of taxi companies on our guest information page which you should remember to book in good time.

  • Is Live Music Permitted?

    There is no problem organising discos and live bands within the venue.

  • Do You Provide A Master Of Ceremonies?

    We do not have a stereotypical, red-jacketed ‘Master of Ceremonies’, but all the front-of-house team here at Coombe Lodge will liaise and make announcements in an unobtrusive way to make your day run smoothly. Alternatively, they can prompt someone of your choosing i.e. the best man, to make announcements if you prefer.

  • Are There Any Hidden Charges?

    All tables, chairs, staffing, crockery, cutlery, glassware, white linen tablecloths and white linen napkins are included in the price. We also have a number of cakestands that you may borrow. If you require coloured linen we can arrange ordering this for you but at a small extra cost.

  • Title or question

    Describe the item or answer the question so that site visitors who are interested get more information. You can emphasize this text with bullets, italics or bold, and add links.
  • Do You Allow Confetti?

    Dried natural petal confetti can be used inside the venues and outside on the lawns, (avoiding the paths and flower beds).

  • Are There Any Restrictions On Decorating The Venues?

    There is no problem with flower arrangements, floating candles, white candles, favours, confetti sprinkles or fresh petals. Unfortunately, we cannot allow Chinese lanterns, indoor sparklers, freeze-dried petals, silk petals, coloured candles or confetti bombs on the tables.

  • Do You Have A Children’s Menu?

    Generally, children enjoy the same meal as the adults at a discounted rate. Alternative choices can be made available and these can be discussed at your wedding planning meeting.
