Gardens

THE HOUSE IS SET AMIDST 15 ACRES OF GLORIOUS LANDSCAPED GARDENS.

In spring, carpets of primroses, daffodils, bluebells and orchids cover the grassy banks and shady woodlands. Whilst summer sees the rhododendrons ablaze with a riot of colour, a mellower autumn transforms the hues of the trees to a warm gold.

The garden terrace is the ideal spot to enjoy a glass of bubbly as you greet your friends and family for reception drinks. There, you and your guests can relax and enjoy canap├ęs, whilst the youngsters let off steam in the grounds, or perhaps make use of the croquet lawn. Needless to say, the gardens provide endless opportunities for a long stroll after dinner. If you can, perhaps ask for a peek into the potting shed where generations of gardeners have signed their names since 1900. The well-tended gardens, with their far-reaching views across the countryside, really are the most perfect setting for our glorious manor house near Bristol.
