Each course of your wedding breakfast will be served as a banquet to the table on platters, allowing your guests to help themselves to the dishes you have chosen. Please choose one starter, three main courses, including a vegetarian selection and one dessert.

STARTER

Antipasti

Somerset cider chorizo, fennel salami, bresaola, Chew Valley smoked chicken, Lye Cross Cheddar, basil pesto bocconcini, asparagus, sundried tomato arancini, Mediterranean vegetables, marinated artichoke hearts, mixed olives, aioli and Ciabatta.

Somerset platter

Wookey cave aged Cheddar, Somerset Brie, homemade sausage roll, Somerset glazed ham, roasted belly pork with cider chutney, heritage tomato and goats’ cheese quiche, pickled vegetables, asparagus, rapeseed oil and spelt bread.  

Tapas platter

 Marinated chilli and garlic king prawns, pan-fried chorizo sausage, calamari, beef and oregano meatballs, red pepper and potato frittata, peppadew stuffed with feta and basil, marinated artichokes, mixed olives and focaccia bread.

Seafood platter

 Chew Valley smoked trout, salmon and samphire fishcakes, sweet chilli and lime marinated prawns, cured mackerel fillets, dill and caper mayonnaise, pickled cucumbers, granary bread, watercress and baby leaf salad.

MAIN

Somerset roasted sirloin of beef with herb roasted potatoes, tender stem broccoli, roasted carrots, horseradish

Rolled leg of lamb roasted with garlic and lemon, gratin potato, sautéed French beans, red onion, garden mint

Whole lemon roasted chicken stuffed with herb tabbouleh served with a peppadew and rocket salad, cucumber tzatziki

Somerset pork porchetta with Parmesan pomme anna, garden apple sauce, thyme reduction

Fillet of sea bass with heritage tomato, lemon crushed new potatoes

Sweet potato, beetroot and spinach gnocchi with dill and capers (vn)

Wild mushroom and thyme risotto with grilled asparagus, lemon and mascarpone (v)

Cedar baked salmon with red onion, tarragon and mint quinoa

 

DESSERT

Chocolate brûlée, dark chocolate brownie, white chocolate parfait
