Coombe Lodge is a striking country manor located on the edge of the village of Blagdon in Somerset. During your visit ensure you make time a stroll around some of the 20 acres of tranquil landscaped gardens surrounding the majestic house, taking in the wonderful panorama, with views across the Chew Valley and Blagdon Lake. The location of our romantic manor house in Somerset is not only stunning, but also very convenient, making Coombe Lodge the ideally situated venue for any occasion. We are only 10 miles south west of central Bristol, two miles off the A38 and within four miles of Bristol International Airport.

From Bristol (10 miles)

Take the A38 past Bristol Airport to the traffic lights. Turn left onto the A368. After about 3 miles, the entrance to Coombe Lodge is situated on the left, just before Blagdon village.

From Weston-super-Mare (9 miles)
Take the A371 through Banwell to join the A368. After crossing the A38 at the traffic lights just beyond Churchill, continue to follow the A368 for about a further 2 miles. The entrance to Coombe Lodge is situated on the left, just before Blagdon village.

From Bath (18 miles)

Take the A4 towards Bristol and take the 2nd exit (A39 for Wells) off the first roundabout – near the Globe Inn. Go through Marksbury and take the A368 at the traffic lights. Stay on the A368 all the way to Blagdon. Go through the village, after 400 yards the entrance to Coombe Lodge is on the right.
