Andrew Carveth Bio

Andrew Carveth

Founder & Director

Early on in his career, Andy worked as a Farm Manager at Priston Mill, a Duchy of Cornwall estate near Bath, but over the years he was instrumental in developing the business there - first through restoring the historic buildings and providing educational tours, then establishing it as a location for weddings and special events. In 2006 he formed PM Hospitality Ltd, bringing the catering in-house at Priston Mill.

In 2009, Andy acquired Coombe Lodge, an E-shaped Jacobean country house designed by the distinguished architect Sir George Oatley, the build of which was commissioned by the Will's family (of W.D. and H.O. Will's tobacco company).  Rockbeare Manor was then added to the family of venues in 2015.

Andy’s passion and determination to ensure everything is always the best that it can be, has meant that the three venues that he has developed, Priston Mill, Coombe Lodge, and Rockbeare Manor – are all highly regarded within the South West. They continue to offer wedding couples and corporate clients something that consistently exceeds expectations, keeping the core values of integrity and exceptional standards at the forefront.
