Wedding Ceremonies

When you hold your ceremony at Coombe Lodge you can choose from a variety of different and very beautiful locations. Our stunning manor house is licensed for Civil Ceremonies for up to 160 people. For an outdoor wedding you can exchange your vows under the ornate archway, watched by your guests seated in our picturesque courtyard with views to Blagdon Lake. For weddings of more than 80 guests you can hold your ceremony in the romantic Music Room, a gorgeously light and airy room with large and very elegant chandeliers, two feature fireplaces and striking views through the three large bay windows. Alternatively, for a more intimate wedding ceremony, our Billiard Room and Long Gallery provide alternatives. The perfect location for your wedding ceremony near Bristol or Bath, however many guests you have attending your big day, and whatever the weather, we will have something to suit you and complete your day.

St Andrew’s, Blagdon, is the nearest parish church to Coombe Lodge. With its long aisle and splendid architecture, it is a wonderful setting in which to exchange your marriage vows. Even if you do not currently have a qualifying connection to the church, you may still be able to marry there. The vicar and congregation are very friendly and welcoming. If you are interested in exploring this option instead of a Civil Ceremony, please contact the Reverend Simon Lewis on 01761 463205, email priest.bcmu@gmail.com or email Alison in the Benefice office on benefice.bcmu@gmail.com
