We're very proud of the great reputation of the cuisine at Coombe Lodge, which is in the capable hands of our brilliant Head Chef Dave Bonner and his experienced team. 


Dave began his career at the age of 15 at the Bath Priory Hotel, to then working across the UK in established Michelin restaurants. From here he took his experience learnt into private catering which lead him to join Coombe Lodge at the start of its journey in 2009. Since then he has lead his kitchen team to create incredible dishes and has been and the forefront of innovative change in our cuisine throughout the years.


Favourite dish to cook?

Although I have somewhat of a sweet tooth and pastry and desserts are my passion, I most enjoy making a traditional Indian curry, where the flavours and spices are abundant.


Favourite local eatery?

Away from work my favourite place to dine is at home with my family.


Fun fact about yourself:

I keep 5 horses and enter into Concours d'elegance competitions.
