Buildings and Projects

Sid has been part of the company since 2008 where he helped out at our sister venue Priston Mill. He then moved on to play a key role in the transformation, restoration and repairing of Coombe Lodge from top to bottom. If you ever have a question regarding the architecture (basically the nuts and bolts) of Coombe Lodge - Sid is your man!

For anyone that has visited Coombe Lodge, it will hopefully be clear to see that we take a huge pride in the presentation of the house and grounds. Sid is integral to these ongoing projects – making sure that the house looks pristine for every wedding and event that takes place at Coombe Lodge.

Fun Fact about yourself:

My actual name is Damien! Sid just kind of stuck from a young age.

Most memorable moment?

Embarrassingly it has to be when I was stretchered of the side of a mountain with a knee injury on the works ski trip! The team found it highly amusing given I have years of skiing experience - just took it too far on the showing off stakes this time!

What is at the top of your bucket list?

New Zealand travels with a stop off at Fiji because why not!
